The technical specification gives a preliminary assessment method for organic compounds detection in printed packaging intended to come into contact with food and any transfer on the food contact layer.
The document applies to the characterization of the production process.
The method described by the document shall be applicable for:
- flexible packaging;
- paper and board packaging;
- rigid plastic packaging.
For the validation flexible packaging were used; a validation for every further packaging has to be done by the laboratory using this method.
