This standard gives the criteria for design and installation for Natural Smoke and Heat Exhaust Ventilation Systems (NSHEVS) in case of fire.
This standard applies to:
- single-floor construction
- last floor of a multi-floor construction
- intermediate floor of a multi-floor construction connectable with the roof.
This standard applies to NSHEVS made with roof mounted Natural Smoke and Heat Exhaust Ventilators (NSHEV) and gives indications and criteria for NSHEVS made with wall mounted NSHEV.
