This standard defines materials and jointing systems to be used for the construction and maintenance of gas distribution pipelines with maximum operating pressure not exceeding 0,5 MPa (5 bar), able to withstand MIP and STP ad defined in the design phase.
This standard applies to:
- pipings starting from production/control/measuring installazions that supply gas to service lines;
- service lines;
- measuring systems according to UNI 9036.
This standard does not appy to:
- control pressure systems;
- measuring systems not in accordance with UNI 9036.
