UNI 11970:2025

This standard defines the requirements related to the professional activity of the Loader crane installer on vehicles, as identified in EN 12999, i.e., of the employees of firms in charge of completing the vehicle by fitting loading cranes on vehicles in order to ensure the usability, availability and functionality for safety purposes of the installed product. The competencies and procedures provided for outfitting firms by the specific Vehicle Type Approval Regulations for the subsequent issuance of the Vehicle Type Approval Certificate are excluded . These requirements will be specified, starting from the tasks and activities and the identification of their contents, in terms of knowledge and skills, also in order to clearly identify the level of autonomy and responsibility, in coherence with the National Qualification Framework (QNQ). These requirements will also be expressed in such a way as to facilitate and contribute to make homogeneous and transparent, as far as possible, the relevant conformity assessment processes.
