This standard defines the requirements related to the professional activity of the Veterinary Technician. These requirements will be specified, starting from the tasks and activities and the identification of their contents, in terms of knowledge and skills, also in order to clearly identify the level of autonomy and responsibility, in coherence with the National Qualification Framework (QNQ). These requirements will also be expressed in such a way as to facilitate and contribute to make homogeneous and transparent, as far as possible, the relevant conformity assessment processes.
