This standard defines the quality and performance of ceramic tiling, provides the rules and instructions accociated with materials selection, design, installation, use and maintenance which should be followed to ensure that the required levels of quality and performance are achieved.
This standard applies to horizontal, vertical and inclined ceramic tilings, on floors, walls and ceilings, internal and external, installed only with adhesives and/or mortar; this standard does not apply to systems other than those specified.
This standard does not apply to furnishing accessories.
