The standard defines the annual programming of cathodic protection measures to be applied to current-operated systems or galvanic-anode systems, with the aim of monitoring the effectiveness of cathodic protection in accordance with ISO 15589-1.
The standard does not apply to cathodic protection systems of concrete reinforcement, nor to of complex structures in accordance with UNI EN 14505.
