This standard specifies methods for calculation and checking of thermal and fluid dynamic characteristic of chimneys, working under negative pressure conditions, serving more than one type C fan assisted gas appliance.
This standard does not apply to:
- Chimneys serving only one appliance (single chimneys);
- Balanced flue chimneys for type C6 gas appliances;
- Positive pressure chimneys
